About
I began my career as a journeyman machinist working for the most successful and highly respected job shop in my area. From manual milling and turning through CNC programming and successful machine shop management I gained a solid foundation in manufacturing methods and best practices.
I began my engineering career specializing in fixturing and tooling supporting foundrys and machine shops. And began what would come to dominate my experience as a machine and product designer. Leveraging my strong manufacturing background I went to work for a semiconductor tooling manufacturer. Over a 15 year period I designed our companies entire product line that included best in class etching performance, most efficient exhaust usage through CFD modeling and many unique solutions to some of the industries most difficult problems.
I moved into automated machine design dominating most of my time and had the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest engineers in the industry.
I believe my wide range of skills and experience combined with a natural ability has made me into a leading designer with an outside the box approach to difficult problems and ability to produce parts that cost less to manufacture and work the first time. Exceeding expectations and delivering on time.
