I'm a mechanical design engineer with a B.Eng. in mechanical engineering and a MSc. in nuclear engineering. I have experience with 3D mechanical design within high-tech environments, such as developing subsystems for semiconductor lithography systems (ASML) and heavy industry environments (Shell).
My main focus areas are working as a 3D CAD engineer with systems such as Siemens NX, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, ZW3D and OnShape. Other than that I am also able to produce production ready technical product documentation according to ISO TC 10 with full GD&T specifications.
Besides 3D CAD design I am also fully proficient as a programmer of mechatronic systems, using languages such as Python, LUA and C/C++.
And to conclude my overview, I am also able to setup structural/thermal FEA and CFD models using software packages such as Code_Aster and COMSOL Multiphysics. In fact I've used Code_Aster before in order to simulate neutron irradiation damage within the graphite moderator cores of Advanced Gas Cooled Reactors at the University of Manchester.
This was in short a summation of my abilities and interests as an engineer.
