Experience
- Research & Development EngineerIndian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur·InternshipMay 2022 – Present4 mosJabalpur, MP, India~ The influence of various roughness elements on flow dynamics has been investigated in
rectangular passage solar air heaters.
~ The impact of gaps at leading, trailing, and both leading and trailing apices are studied
as three different configurations with the optimum baffle pitch.
~ With the help of CFD, the thermal performance is predicted as a normalized Nusselt
number, the flow characteristic is estimated as a frictional penalty and overall
performance is estimated using the thermohydraulic performance parameter.
~ To improve the overall performance and cost-effectiveness, the energy and exergy
analysis of SAH with semi-cylindrical sidewalls and various discrete inclined baffles
configurations is carried out.
