我已经完成了我的学士和硕士学位in Architecture (Professional) at the University of The Witwatersrand in 2016, I now have over 5 years’ experience working in the field using a combination of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software for technical drawing and combining these with Sketchup, Lumion, Photoshop and InDesign for conceptual development and presentations. For several years I have been working as a Project Architect at a local architectural firm, where I lead a team responsible for various residential, industrial, and commercial projects. From small-scale interior design jobs of a hundred square meters to significant commercial developments of thousands of square meters, I ensured no design problem was without a solution. While I have enjoyed this role as Project Architect, recently I have been interested in furthering my knowledge and experience by exploring freelance opportunities (both locally and internationally). My years of work thus far, have given me experience in conceptual design, bespoke detailing, and technical resolution. I also have a deep passion for construction, "making" and understanding how things fit together. I believe great architectural design is fundamentally about story telling. I always aim to design buildings that, when stripped bare of all artifice, have spatial flows that are functional, structures that are beautiful and relationships to their surroundings that are timeless. Along with the above ethos, I apply diligence and attentiveness to every project with which I engage. I have over 7 years of experience in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry. I am registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa. I specialize in commercial buildings and the majority of my designs are chilled / hot water (4-pipe) systems. I have designed and overseen the installation of Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems with the largest having a total building thermal load of 3MW (850 Tons). Other systems I have design experience in include VAV, VRF, Package Units and Evaporative cooling. The largest building's HVAC system I designed to date was a total of 35000m(hidden)ft2) GLA.

I'm a multidisciplinary draughter with Solidworks, Sketchup ,Revit and AutoCad experience. I have 2 years on the job training (Practical experience). I studied at Academy IDT and just enrolled at AIE for my Architectural Technologist certification. I am currently working on restoring an old house and giving it a modern touch. In the last 2 years I've done a wide variety of things from designing showers and boats to American shutters , wine racks , balustrading and even a Helicopter garage with some furniture design here and there. Has worked on private and government projects incl Housing developments, Hospital renovations, Commercial designs, Offices, etc. Strong design and modelling skills, Construction supervision, Quality control & auditing experince. Work extensively in Revit. Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Photoshop, AutoCAD and basic knowledge of Sketchup. Work well both in teams either managing it or as part of it or individually. Extensive experience as freelancer so can work remotely very well. Goal orientated and hard worked.
