Description:
We have a lovely cottage lakehouse that is lacking a covered back porch. The house appears very flat and it needs character. We will only cover the back from windows 1 to 3 to include the glass door. The remaining two windows to the left will not be covered. The porch should extend the length of the deck and follow the line of the deck as it is right on the property line. We can either go through the planters or move them if we need to. The planters allow for a set back of 22 to 24 inches to allow for a proper eave.
I have a contractor that can build from sight or plans.
Must have metal roof.
I will attach a few photos of porches that I like to the last two spots.
Wants:
It must look like it is part of the house and not an addition.
Don't Wants:
We can't block the view.
It can slope straight down.
Software:
  1. I am unfamiliar with what to use
Additional Information
My description needs to read "width" of deck instead length.

Also, The porch CAN'T slope straight down!

Susie,
I would leave the planters and benches where they are and place the new columns directly behind them as I have shown in thesubmittal. They are too nice to remove.

You will need to know what construction documents re required to pass codes before you build or you will get a stop work order posted on the project. I have been at this for over 20 year both building and working for architects I have seen builders get the stop work orders you may have it where you do not need it I have seen that too.

我有门廊的详细信息。tapp的甲板ered and the height is much higher than I thought.
>
>Looking at the house from the lake the frist pole the right can actually go in the ground without going through the deck and it is 15' 10" the next planter box is 15' 11" the next one after that is 14' 9" and then 12' 6" to the second window (from the left) beam where the porch will end. These measurements include a 22' setback from the edge of the deck which is on the property line.
>
>Now, the height.... the porch will attach at 11' from the deck and the pole will have to go in the ground which is 14' from the attachment point. Nice and tall.
>
>I hope this makes sense. Let me know it it doesn't.

Hi Susie,
I have a design finished for you, but the CAD Crowd documents suggest not submitting a design until a payment has been made; as I see your status is Payment Pending. I am not sure exactly how this works on your end, but it would be nice to be paid for my work if you like the design.

I will need to get the deck dimension on Saturday when I an up at the lake. The porch should go between the first and second floor.
Tue, 05 Aug 2014 18:46:46 +0000
can you give some dimensions of the back porch? and the height of the covered porch??

Hey y'all, I have a couple of questions for clarification... firstly do you want the covered porch roof line to start from the existing roof line of the second floor or a new roof-line between floors at approx 9' mark. Also can you clarify what you mean that it cant slope straight down....

I have several idea that would work great but I want to make sure I am on the ball park with your ideas.

I can have this turned out in a day for you if you can get back ASAP

Design a small 1.5 m x 1.5 m booth that will be an "add on" to the back of our current photography studios. These studios are in the middle of shopping centres. Single profile only. We have a specific design in mind so if your are good at CAD you won't have a problem doing this with ease
Dwarven Forge Bracelet
A bracelet design to complement our long standing line of Dungeons and Dragons/fantasy rpg terrain. Please view our website -- dwarvenforge.com -- to develop a sense for our product. You can also look at our recent Kickstarter campaign -- http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1745470388/1826778276?token=2a7841d2 (see "Game Tiles" on kickstarter.com). I'd start with a bangle, probably with one main charm, a small crystal and a small charm with our logo -- kind of like "Alex & Ani" level of complexity, but for gamers. The main charm should probably be metal. The bracelets are for women, gamers or partners of gamers.
Alfred's Mic's Design Contest
阿尔弗雷德的麦克风fi想创造世界rst Modular Microphone. The goal is to create a condenser microphone with interchangeable capsules and circuitry for different studio recording applications. Design requirements: 1. Capsule/ head piece must be removable. 2. Circuitry must be removable. 3. All removable parts must be easy and quick to assemble. 3. All removable components must be lockable onto the microphone body for stability and durability. 4. standard male XLR connection for base 5.Circuitry isn't being designed here, just the process to easily interchange the interior circuitry and head piece/capsule without any rewiring involved for the microphone user.
iPhone Audio Accessory - Music Booster
This product provides an added volume boost to iPhones. Ultimately, we'd like to create an audio booster accessory that plugs directly into an iPhone. You would then be able to plug your headphones into this accessory so you can listen to your music at louder levels. We'd like to have it so you can control the volume/bass/treble levels through a mobile app. If not, then it could be something like this FiiO product (http://fiio.net/en/products/53) but wireless. It would also be similar to this product, but also wireless. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1746450443/uamp-soul-shaking-audio-for-your-ears/description No firm dimensions. At most, it would be as wide as the iPhone itself. Design should look like something Apple would have designed. Something sleek. For colors, use the same colors as the iPhone 6S. There needs to be a Power button, Vol+ button, Vol- button, and either a battery indicator or battery light.
Solidworks Car model
I am looking for someone to model in solidworks a replica of a car already on the market. I like super cars and classic cars! The file needs to be somewhat editable in solidworks and renderable in keyshot. The contest is quite open ended, the more detail the better.
