Description:
Hermosa Beach in Guanacaste Costa Rica is a small fishing village rapidly expanding into a eco friendly tour destination. I am part of a group who owns 2 prime lots of land on the corner of the main beach entrance, and also a much larger lot approximately 300m further up the main road.
I am looking for a designer to help create a professional 3D model for an “entertainment park” on the beach lot consisting of a “walk up window” style restaurant, a 360 degree bar, (one fun idea is to make with a sailboat hull with swings as seats, pictures attached), restrooms, a sales office/tour concierge desk, small stage, seating areas, and potentially a small “bodega style” grocery store, waste water treatment space. The original idea is to use 40ft shipping containers as a structure while maintaining a clean, simple atmosphere, maybe with the option of rooftop patios. The landscaping, plant life should be very tropical and full, we want to use the vegetation, rock, dirt mounds to break up what is a very plain flat space.

更大的很多道路被发展成a 40 townhome neighborhood, the entertainment park will need to include exclusive benefits for homeowners once they are built and occupied. The idea is to run the entertainment park independently until construction is close to completion, at that point we can add additional perks to the park like - private restroom with lockers and outdoor showers, concierge service at the tour office, percentage discounts, etc. The opportunity to design a “second phase” would be awarded to winner as well
Wants:
I am new to CAD and 3D designs, and I am open to different ideas and interpretations. The original plan was to create the park using shipping containers (40’x20’) or smaller. Tiki hut “pre-fab” style is also an option but durability and easy containment for beach weather seemed to fit with shipping container style. We are looking to keep it clean and tasteful, simple tropical style.
Don't Wants:
No designs requiring complicated electrical or water. We are open to ideas, I am attaching my poor attempt at 3D design in order to give some direction, the measurements are not to spec but close enough to give an idea. I can provide exact measurements.
Ask for Sample:
Giving samples is required so we understand artists direction

Hi client, you wrote "(one fun idea is to make with a sailboat hull with swings as seats, pictures attached)", can you check again if the image is uploaded? I'm not able to see that example.

Thanks in advance.

Dear client, you have included in your images (from .skp model) a parking lot. Is it necessary to put in our design?

The “Plano” has also been submitted into the docs- it is in Spanish and done in Costa Rica measured by 10 points by coordinates- not sure if that is standard practice so I added the basic L x W in meters in hopes to simplify.

thank you all, I understand the dimensions are most important and I am sending today, I wanted to get started and maybe was a bit premature, but will submit as soon as possible. I also appreciate everyone’s input on the price, again it’s my first contest submission so I didn’t have much to gauge on what was reasonable. I am upping the prize $, good luck!

provide the dimensions of the plot or location, a professional architect cannot work without dimensions, otherwise what is the point?
Mon, 24 Jul 2023 06:10:19 +0000
kindly provide park dimensions.

$280 is really not worth the gray matter and effort.
- the workload is the whole park landscape, not a tiny logo.
- the landscape affects the income of the owner of the place himself. Is it attracting visitors?
- in my country this type of design we charge per 1m^2 for example 2$/1m^2.

Dear Peter,

My name is Aidan Saya I am a student of Architecture and have a proficiency in CAD Design and have the appropriate resources as such (SketchUp and Archicad). I have taken an interest in your contest and would like to create a design for you. If i could request specific measurements of your listed spaces I can begin straight away.

Kind Regards,
Aidan Saya.

Project Details: We have a design for small wearable sensor that was to be worn on the wrist. We've had 500 testing devices produced and now we're looking to redesign it so that it can also be comfortably gripped in the hand. The internal specs will stay the same because we only want to improve the external aesthetics and form factor. We're looking to start with conceptual sketches and then narrow down on 2 rough directions and then a final design. Deliverables include: sketches, 3D rendered images, files for 3D printing mockups and final production CAD designs. You should have experience with consumer friendly products. Familiarity with electronics and rubberized materials is a plus. The casing (and its incorporated device) is to fit in the palm of the hand. It is held there by means of a strap, much like a watch, but equipped with Velcro so that it can be easily adjusted. The casing itself needs to be shaped so that it can be very comfortably held, hand gently closed. The shape is novel, and the material, attractive to the touch, may be slightly compressible as in rubber or silicone. The casing should have two openings, on the on/off button, the other for recharging the battery (a phone recharger port). The dimensions of the device to be encased are: 1 ½” X 1 9/16” X 5/8 “ Sample images of the current iteration have been attached.
Designing a Business-Oriented Conceptualization tool: a 3D Cube to visualize market segments
We have designed a conceptualization tool using Powerpoint, which consists in a cube representing market segments and how a brand positions itself across these segments. Each of the 3 dimensions of the cube represents a way of segmenting markets (for instance geography, products, customers). The cube breaks down into many different smaller blocks along the intersection of each segmentation criterion. In other words, each smaller block (defined by a combination of product, consumer and geography) represents a specific market segment. Additionally, we have drafted a “cube within a cube” approach: you can zoom in on 1 specific geography and get a second cube, which will show market segments along three axes (product, customer and a new one: distribution channel). The design should integrate this “cube within a cube logic”. Please refer to the uploaded screens to better grasp what it means visually. The deliverable produced by the designer(s) using CAD will be used extensively by non-experts to build presentation-ready visuals in a business-oriented environment. The deliverable must meet the following requirements: - Possibility to highlight different segments with multiple colors in a flexible and user-friendly way - Possibility to visualize the cube from different angles - Possibility to easily change the labels of the different axes You can refer to the uploaded screenshots to better understand what the deliverable will look like. Important: we advise designers to focus on designing only a few visuals at first: slides A,B,E,F,G & 1 to limit the time they will have to dedicate to compete. As a second step, we will select one or two designers to produce the final deliverables, giving them extra context and information. After the contest is over, the winner may be proposed additional jobs around the project, in exchange for a competitive compensation.
3D FACE
We are posting a contest for development work that specializes with human facial modeling, texturing, animation and 3D mapping in after effects for integration into HD video work. This work is to reconstruct a 3D facial model from a deceased celebrity whom we obtain plenty of photography of the individual as well as a generated preliminary 3D models from Face Gen and Face Shift in the animation requirements.

Toy siren whistle modeling in Autodesk Inventor
Existing pneumatic mouth-blown siren whistles need a large volume of air at a fairly high pressure in order to produce a noise. Project Goals: Create a siren whistle model assembly (rotor, stator(s), housing) in Autodesk Inventor that that I can 3D print (I have Inventor myself, so I can modify part/assembly constraints and export STL for 3D printing) and I can experiment with the effect of changing constraints such as: different part/assembly sizes, number of rotor vanes, angle of rotor vanes, position and number of stator openings, etc. Ideally, the provided model with the default constraints produces a siren noise that uses less volume and pressure when blown through than existing products (such as those depicted at http://www.alibaba.com/trade/search?fsb=y&IndexArea=product_en&CatId=&SearchText=whistle+lips and on attached image). The model should also be moldable and assemble-able using conventional plastic production manufacturing methods. Provide constrained Inventor files upon completion. It is anticipated that reduction in size of the existing approach should produce the desired result. Higher pitched frequency than that produced by current commercial versions is OK. I've also included 2 photos of a: 1) stator/retention element (with round holes), 2) rotor and 3) stator/housing (red) from a "lip whistle" siren toy.
